Straitjacket are:-     Mike Eastman and Paul d'Monaco.

Straitjacket were formed in 1983, after the demise of Top Midlands Showband, 'Ragamuffin'. The members are Mike Eastman and Paul d'Monaco, and both play keyboards, sing, and perform Comedy sketches.

They are both members of Equity, and as such they have appeared in many T.V. series and films, both acting and in supporting roles. In the 90's they diversified into Musical Theatre and later on Pantomime, and have continued every year since then.

In Pantomime, they have appeared as many characters in all of the family favourites including, " Cinderella", playing the 'Ugly Sisters', and then as various characters in "Aladdin",  "Mother Goose", and many more... 

Earlier this year Mike played 'Dame Trott, and Paul, one the 'two Robbers', in the Pantomime " Jack and the Beanstalk" !

The music in their Cabaret Shows comprises everything from 50's Rock-n-Roll, through to 00's songs from the Boy Bands, to ballads plus a good old Party Time dance set to finish. They can also Compere shows when working with other Artistes, plus provide backing music to fill any breaks, so providing the complete entertainment package. Their sound is always set to compliment the room, so you won't be blasted out like some of the Acts!

On July 20th 2011 Paul announced he wanted to finish

performing at the end of September 2011 due to health

reasons.  His last performance was to be Badsey Royal

British Legion on Saturday September 17th, after 34 years

5months and 17days of working together ! His place is to

be taken by Coventry based musician / comedian
